This dog friendly holiday cottage is located 3 miles north of the popular historic town of Appleby which boasts a mixture of pubs, restaurants, tearooms and shops. The property is perfect for both walkers and cyclists alike, being close to both the Pennine Way and Pennine Cycle Way. Ulswater is a 20 minute drive and the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Northumbria and the Scottish Borders are all within easy reach.
The property itself is a conversion of the former Long Marton railway station and is next to an active railway line. Downstairs you will find a large living room; complete with railway station features, open fire (first scuttle of coal included), 42″TV with Freeview DVD/VCR and hi-fi. Nearby a well equipped kitchen can be found with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and microwave. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a family room with 1 king-size and 1 single-bed with en-suite WC and 1 twin bedroom. Both rooms are serviced by a downstairs bathroom complete with bath over shower and WC. The property is surrounded by an enclosed lawn; perfect for relaxing with your family or dogs. Up to 3 dogs are welcome in the property.
