Scafell Lodge in the Lake District, Cumbria is a holiday home that is dog friendly and is suited for people who are travelling with their pet dogs. The accommodation is an airy wooden lodge that allows plenty of natural light. It comprises of a bedroom, a bathroom and a common area for kitchen, lounge and diner. The lodge has all the appliances that the guests might need including a television and electric fireplace in the lounge, microwave, oven, gas hob, fridge and dishwater in kitchen and a washing machine too. There is a balcony and a private park attached to the lodge. Furnishing includes a dining table that can seat 4, a double bed and chairs and table in the park. Visitors will be provided towels and bed linen.

Internet access is also included and the property is centrally heated. There is parking available for one car alongside the lodge. Smoking is not allowed on the premises. Guests staying at the holiday lodge can bring a maximum of two dogs along with them.

The wooden lodge is situated at the center of the Lake District National Park and is surrounded by forest and mountains. For explorers, there is the Coniston Water, third largest lake in England and an where guests can indulge in fishing and many forms of water sports including canoeing. Many yachts and cruisers, such as Coniston Launch and Gondola, sail in the area and offer packages to those interested. There are plenty of trails and treks for cycling and hiking in the mountains and forest of Grizedale. Other tourist attractions include the Lakeland Motor Museum and the world of Beatrix Potter. There are plenty of shop, bars and pubs close to the lodge.

All in all, Scafell Lodge is the go to dog friendly holiday property if a person is looking for some adventures in the nature’s lap with their loyal dogs by their side.
