Grooms Barn provides the perfect base for people looking for an escapade into the Brecon Beacons and its neighboring regions in South Wales. Located on the outskirts of the Hay-on-Wye town, this dog friendly holiday property accommodates four people and their two canine friends.

The Grooms Barn is a refurbished stable that has every modern amenity to ensure a comfortable stay for the guests. It consists of one king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The rest of the property is an open plan common area lounge, kitchen and diner. A television with DVD and woodburner are the highlights of lounge. The kitchen counters are occupied by microwave, oven and refrigerator. The dining area features a dining table and breakfast bar. A washing machine is supplied in the utility room which also has another toilet.

The holiday property has gardens at the front and back which are enclosed for privacy, also featuring furnished area with barbeque. Parking at the property is ample. Central heating and WiFi are available. Bed linen and towels are provided to the guests and travel cot or highchair for babies can be arranged on request. Smoking is not allowed at the property. There are various trails around this dog friendly holiday home where guests can trek or cycle in company of their pet companions.

For exploration, the area offers multiple points of interest. The River Wye flows through the Hay-on-Wye town and provides canoeing and kayaking experiences to those interested. The Brecon Beacons National Park has plenty of caves and waterfalls demanding a visit. For the adventurous souls, the park provides the opportunity for rock climbing, hang-gliding and caving. A journey to PenyFan, the largest peak in the Beacons mountain range, may be undertaken. Fishing opportunities are countless with multiple rivers and streams close to the holiday home. There are pubs and shops at a short distance from the barn if one wishes to check them out.
